I must ask, I've been trying to do dreads for weeks, how did you make them?

i just checked my brand i use organic olive soap granules in hot water at the moment to mist the dreads to make them firm up

exactly the way that human dreads are made only smaller

.. merino wool rolled on a sushi mat to break up the fibers and reconnect and lightly misted with natural soaps in hot water and repeat.. there is alot of videos on you tube about wool dreads people do it all sorts of ways.. see which ones you like and make it on a much smaller scale.. hope this helps..takes a while but it can be therapeutic except i get sore fingers from the rolling!

Ah, wool! I'll keep that in mind. I never thought of using wool, thank you so much. I'll have to look in my local craft store for some. :3 Thanks for your help, I customize dolls too and am always looking for ways to improve
